Brian David Cange is a line producer who most recently worked on two critically acclaimed feature films: Equity, a 2016 Official Selection Sundance Film Festival, which will be released in the U.S. by Sony Pictures Classic on July 29, 2016; and Marjorie Prime, starring Jon Hamm, Tim Robbins and Geena Davis.
Cange’s feature film work includes: the highly acclaimed Mad Hot Ballroom, which earned eight wins and nine nominations at key critics award competitions in 2005/2006; Backwards, starring Sarah Megan Thomas and James Van Der Beek; Fugly! starring John Leguizamo, Radha Mitchell, Rosie Perez and Griffin Dunne; Particle Fever; The Skeptic, starring Tim Daly, Zoe Saldana and Tom Arnold); and the 2008 Peabody Award winning documentary Billy Strayhorn: Lush Life.
On the television front, Cange just completed work on the National Geographic television series “I am Rebel,” the first in a four-part miniseries, which airs June 5, 2016.
He also produced the television movie Footsteps in the Snow for A&E and Lifetime Movie Networks. And in the same year: line produced the Emmy-nominated, History Channel mini-series The World Wars; and Making Space, a full-length documentary film about five accomplished female architects with renowned producer Ultan Guilfoyle.
