Nicole Coady is a writer, director and producer with over 15 years of Hollywood film making experience. Entertainment Weekly has this to say about her first high grossing film: “Embrace of the Vampire plays the vampire/victim dynamic to the hilt and packs a substantial punch!” and USA Today hails her work as, “A delight!”
Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Film. She went on to pursue a career in the film industry working for such companies as the Creative Artists Agency, producer John Hart’s Hart Hubbard Films, and Tristar Entertainment before embarking on screenwriting. She had the good fortune to have her screenplays produced by major Hollywood players, New Line Cinema and 20th Century Fox. In addition, she authored scripts for two children’s animated features showcasing the top selling Bratz line of dolls for MGA, Livin’ It Up With The Bratz and Little Bratz Party Time.
Building upon her years as a successful screenwriter, Nicole is looking forward to taking the next step in her carreer, directing The Brothers Grimm’s 12 Dancing Princesses, a fairytale she has loved since childhood. As a former young dancer who studied with The Joffrey Ballet prior to attending Vassar, she is excited to bring her knowledge of dance and storytelling together through the medium of film to create a magical princess movie in the vein of such box office hits as Cinderella and Frozen.
